Jacques Habra began his professional career during his senior year
at the University of Michigan. Although Habra was about to graduate
with Honors in Philosophy and English, he launched a technology company
focused on Web applications and on-line communications aptly named
Web Elite, LLC.
Web Elite grew in the late 90's into a perennial leader in the Web
development world being named one of Crain's top Web companies from
1998 through 2003. Habra's ability to connect the complex technical
world, communications potential of the Internet, and business objectives
of medium to large business led to steady growth and profits. Without
any outside capital, Web Elite grew profitably each year into a multi-million
business with a global client base including General Motors, Wells
Fargo, Marsh McClennan, Sun Microsystems, and ESPN. A perennial media
magnet, Web Elite was continually recognized for Habra quickly established
himself as an expert in the field of Web applications, on-line marketing,
and Web communications providing numerous articles to national publications
and speaking at engagements `for a wide range of industries.
The company developed a national presence with offices in New York
City and San Francisco. However, the most notable location remained
the headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI. In 2000, Habra purchased and renovated
the Ann Arbor 1 & 2 Theater building into one of the Midwest’s most
stunning and visually engaging architectural offices. While the rest
of the Web economy slowed, Web Elite experienced its best year in
2001 with revenues over $3.5 Million. In addition, Anderson Consulting
named Habra Entrepreneur of the Year. 2001 also marked Habra's recognition
by Ernst& Young for a third consecutive year as Entrepreneur of the
Year Finalist in Information Technology.
In 2002, Habra sold Web Elite to a group of private members and Web
Elite consolidated operations in the Pleasant Ridge, MI area.
Building on Habra’s success in the Information Technology and Business
Consulting, Habra launched Habra Investment Properties, LLC and Habra
Enterprises, LLC developing real estate investments in the residential
and commercial markets respectively. Real estate investments have
spanned the continental United States from San Francisco and Los Angeles
to regional Midwest locations.
In 2004, Habra partnered with Amer Zahr in the launch of OZ, a multi-cultural
night club in downtown Ann Arbor. OZ expansion plans include development
opportunities in Los Angeles, New York City, and Philadelphia.
Habra continues to provide CEOs of $25MM+ companies business and IT
consulting through Noospheric,
LLC.
As an IndyMuse managing partner, Habra manages high level strategy
and business development leveraging 10 years of successful business
