Mark Andrews launched his career in the United Kingdom Financial Services
Industry as a risk analyst before becoming a management information
consultant where he was involved in a variety of fields from statistical
analysis and marketing to product design, implementation and training.
In 1992, Mark began working on short films to improve his knowledge
base until in 1994 he formed his own production company Cobra Media
Productions and Executive Produced his first feature film ‘MAINLINE
RUN’ starring Hugo Speer from ‘The Full Monty’. Over the next few
years Mark was instrumental in the financing and producing of two
further feature films ‘DISTANT SHADOW’ and ‘REDEMPTION ROAD’, until
in 2002 Mark took a hiatus from producing to form a film financing
Tax Fund called Studio Finance to raise £15m for the production and
acquisition of British Qualifying films. Studio Finance was a Tax
Shelter utilizing U.K. Tax legislation passed by the British Government
in 1998 to promote growth in the U.K. film industry.
In 2003 he began consulting for another film fund, UKFS partly owned
by Channel House Trustees with more than £1.5 billion in client asset’s

funding via Limited liability Film Partnerships. In 2004 Mark came
to the United States to work with a number of producing partners on
the financing of their movies and was fortunate to witness the United
States Government pass the Job Creations Act of which section 181
(1)(a), was a lifeline to the Independent Film Industry. Realizing
the implications of this legislation and using his past experience,
Mark began formulating a business model that would benefit Members
and filmmakers alike.
